About Me
I’m a wildlife conservation photographer born and raised in Dallas, Texas and I’ve always been committed to making a difference in the lives of animals. Their welfare will always be my number one priority, so whether they’re wild or captive, I strive to capture images without disturbing them in any way. I’m especially passionate about felines and canids and I dedicate a lot of my time to studying their behavior remotely through camera traps. I want to show everyone the beauty I see in each and every animal. They can't speak for themselves so I hope my images can make a difference in some way.
I volunteer at In-Sync Exotics, a non-profit wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the rescue of neglected, abused or unwanted exotic cats. I'm on the Advisory Committee for Texas Native Cats, an organization focused on education, advocacy, outreach and improving the lives of our very important but often misunderstood native cats of Texas, and mountain lions are currently a top priority. I’m the Texas State Representative for Project Coyote and I’ll be helping to expand their core programs and campaigns into Texas. I’m a contributor and Texas Outreach Representative for The Canid Project. Lastly, I’m a Partner Photographer for Panthera and I’m incredibly honored to have my images used for their conservation efforts. Panthera is the only organization in the world that is devoted exclusively to the conservation of the world’s 40 wild cat species and their ecosystems.
I'm married to the most amazing man in the world and we have three rescue dogs, Lola, Barney and Oscar, and we recently rescued a kitten named Nino. I'm currently documenting urban bobcats in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You can check it out here.
